Measuring your wall

Before ordering:

  1. Measure the available wall width and height.
  2. Note nearby furniture, doors, windows and light fittings.
  3. Mark the proposed artwork size on the wall using removable painter’s tape.
  4. Stand back and view the outline from the normal viewing position.
  5. Confirm that the artwork will have enough breathing space around it.

Artwork above furniture

When hanging artwork above a sofa, console, bed or sideboard, the artwork should feel visually connected to the furniture rather than floating separately.

For wider furniture, a larger artwork or grouped display will usually create a more balanced result.

Canvas and giclée sizing

Canvas prints are supplied stretched and ready to hang unless otherwise stated.

Giclée fine-art prints are supplied unframed and may include a border for easier mounting and framing. The final framed size will therefore be larger than the printed image.

Discuss the desired final dimensions with your framer before selecting a frame and mount.
